A ROYAL VISIT

On Wednesday, 13th September 2006 Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal visited Hurst Manor Nursing and Residential Home.

Her Royal Highness arrived by helicopter to Martock recreation ground and was then brought by car to Hurst Manor. Here, she spoke with many members of staff, residents, friends and relatives.

Her Royal Highness was presented with a bouquet by our longest serving member of staff, Mandy Marks, after which she toured the home, unveiled a plaque commemorating her opening of our Garden Wing and cut a celebratory cake.

We were delighted and honoured by her visit which will be remembered for many years to come.
